Chad Luarca
(He/Him/His)
Chad is a Registered Massage Therapist with a background in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia, as well as experience in personal training, fitness, and rehabilitation.
Growing up playing basketball and volleyball, Chad developed a lifelong appreciation for movement and continues to enjoy both sports recreationally today. Through athletics, fitness, and navigating his own injuries, he has gained a deep understanding of how pain and tension can affect not only the way we move, but also how we feel in our everyday lives.
Chad works with a wide range of clients and takes a whole-body approach to treatment. While neck, shoulder, and upper back tension are among the most common concerns he treats, he believes it’s important to understand how the body functions as an interconnected system rather than focusing on one area alone. Often, where pain is felt isn’t necessarily where the problem begins.
Whether someone is recovering from an injury, keeping up with their kids, staying active, or simply looking to move and feel better, Chad’s goal is to help clients build strength, move with confidence, and continue doing the activities that matter most to them. He also enjoys providing practical, realistic home-care recommendations that fit into busy lifestyles and help clients maintain progress between treatments.
Outside of the clinic, Chad enjoys working out, playing sports, travelling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with his corgi, Nori.
